Camp Virgil Tate, like so many other nonprofits, is attempting to combat the loss of funding due to COVID-19. Currently, the COVID-19 relief funds available to nonprofits are extremely limited and competitive. We need your help to continue our operation during this uncertain time.
We have lost over 70% of our funding due to COVID-19. In a typical year, this funding would have come from the many private events that we host such as weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, birthday parties, and more. However, due to COVID-19 we were not able to safely hold any of these events. We were also not able to hold our youth-focused events like outdoor classrooms, summer camps, band camps, or church camps.
What does my donation fund?
All funds raised will go directly toward the continued operation of Camp Virgil Tate.
Your donation helps us:
- Make much-needed repairs and improvements to our facilities.
- Provide our employees and their families stability through continued employment and income during this uncertain time.
- Support youth and our community by continuing to offer deeply discounted rates to local schools and their affiliated groups, 4-H clubs and organizations, churches, and other eligible nonprofits.
- Continue to provide a safe and beautiful space for youth to learn, develop, serve, and grow.
How can I help?
